Mini Dell laptops – Inspiron M101z: Thiner designs with AMD Neo processor

Dell continues listening and paying more attention to the public who prefers more mobility in these days. For that reason, the company is offering small and lightweight products but without forgetting the strong capabilities and the quality. This could be seen in the ultraportable Inspiron M301z with a metallic-like finish but without an optical drive to obtain a thiner and lighter design.

In this opportunity,  Dell is launching a new model which also belongs to the Inspiron series but it is a couple of inches smaller than the M301z. It is the new M101z model that, as mentioned before, is part of the Inspiron series and was designed for those people who want mobility, comfort, and good capabilities. For that reason, the computer includes a 11.6-inch screen with HD (1366 x 768 pixels) resolution and TrueLife technology. It can work perfectly with only a single-core Athlon II Neo K125 processor or with a dual-core Athlon II Neo K325 processor.

In addition, it comes with ATI RS880M integrated graphics and we will be able to work with DDR3 RAM memory ranging from 2GB to 4GB. As for connectivity and additional accessories, Dell includes USB ports, HDMI, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, and the respective slot for memory cards. Other features include a storage capacity of 250 or 320GB on the hard drive and a 6-cell battery which is able to provide up to six and a half hours of power after a full charge.
This small but potent portable computer couldn’t be considered a “netbook”, strictly speaking. It offers a better performance and is a perfect option if you are considering buying a new light and powerful portable computer. Besides, the price is a great advantage. It is available on the Dell website with an initial price of $449.99 (or 305 Euros in Europe) and in a variety of colors.
