LG LH2300 Touch Screen Web Phone

The next question that comes to your mind after reading the heading would be “What is a Web Phone?” Well, that is just a fancy name for an “internet” optimized phone. This South Korean product (LG’s homeland is South Korea, for those who don’t know) has a widescreen touch sensitive user interface called Hello UI.

The LG web phone features a 3-inch wide screen LCD display capable of producing 800*480 pixel resolutions. The Hello UI interface enables you direct access to various features including quick access to main portals through the quick search icon and fast Internet browsing through the internet hot keys. LG LH2300 web phone also feature a jog wheel that makes it easier to browse through the web.

The features are not limited to just web browsing. This handset also features a 3-megapixel camera with auto focus, which includes face recognition and image stabilization technologies. It is also packed with T-DMB mobile TV for mobile TV viewing, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity and a microSD memory slot for memory expansion.

At the moment, it is not clear about its internet connectivity features. We believe this phone would feature Wi-Fi & EDGE connectivity. LG expects to launch this phone in the Korean market by April. Suggested retail price of this phone is around $600.
